Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead diverse teams in delivering world-class web solutions and enterprise systems. You’ll play a key role in shaping technical strategy, defining architectural standards, mentoring engineers, establishing project excellence across our consulting portfolio, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software that meets enterprise demands for performance, security, and scalability and meet the complex needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers working on enterprise-scale web solutions and digital transformation projects.
- Oversee multiple projects across clients, ensuring engineering delivery exceeds expectations.
- Partner with clients, architects, and product leaders to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions that drive business growth and client satisfaction.
- Oversee the full development lifecycle from shaping roadmaps, driving technical design and code quality, to deployment and maintenance.
- Partner with sales and product teams to shape technical, project scope, technical estimates, and staffing strategy.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical and operational excellence within the team and across the organization.
- Stay ahead of emerging web technologies and help shape the company’s long-term technical vision.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
- Proven success delivering complex, large-scale web-based solutions for enterprise clients.
- Deep expertise in modern web technologies (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Node.js, .NET Core, Java/Spring, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Exceptional communication, client engagement, and cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools
- Certification in a relevant technology or management discipline

Irvine Pay Range
$177,000 - $220,000 USD
