About the Role

Location: Remote (US)
Role Type: Full-Time
Reporting to: Director, Partnerships
Compensation:
$85,000 - $110,000 annually

CodePath’s Philanthropy Partnerships team raises the philanthropic capital behind the courses, career support, and career outcomes of our students. The Partner Engagement and Communications Manager turns CodePath’s impact into action. You’ll equip the team with compelling stories, visual communications, donor experiences, and campaigns that help funders understand the difference their partnership makes and inspire them to deepen their investment. The role owns a portfolio spanning fundraising collateral and asset management, cultivation and stewardship events, and seasonal fundraising, including end-of-year giving.

This is a highly autonomous building role that combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution. You’ll lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives from concept through execution, and build the systems, templates, and AI-enabled workflows that make recurring fundraising communications faster and more consistent. Success requires moving quickly in a fast-paced, evolving organization, translating data and stories into compelling visual communications, and continuously improving how the team plans and executes events and campaigns.

Key Activities

External engagement and events (~60%)

  • Own strategy and execution for key cultivation and stewardship events, designing experiences that deepen donor engagement and advance priority fundraising opportunities, including positioning, contact lists, attendance tracking, and logistics
  • Lead event content and program development, including speaker points, donor experience, and run of show, working with Philanthropy Partnerships and cross-functional teams to ensure engagement outcomes
  • Own donor thought leadership projects such as joint PR, announcements, op-eds, panels, and special events; collaborate with our PR firm, internal marketing team, and the Office of the CEO to execute
  • Serve as the on-the-ground lead at key events, representing the Philanthropy Partnerships team in person and overseeing day-of execution (presentation decks, leave-behinds, signage, run of show)
  • Partner with other departments, including the Office of the CEO, to lead and streamline preparation for key events (messaging alignment, attendance tracking)
  • Capture stories, photography, video, and other event content to repurpose across future cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising communications
  • Research and recommend conferences and external engagement opportunities based on their potential to expand CodePath’s network, strengthen relationships, and generate new fundraising opportunities

Fundraising communications and asset development (~30%)

  • Build, maintain, and frequently update a shared library of polished, reusable visual and narrative assets, including one-pagers, pitch decks, program description templates, proof-point graphics, and boilerplate visuals
  • Identify, develop, and package student stories and impact narratives into fundraising assets that strengthen donor understanding of CodePath’s impact
  • Keep the asset library current as programs, outcomes data, and impact metrics evolve, in collaboration with the Grant Writer
  • Develop scalable design templates, brand systems, and AI-enabled asset-creation workflows that increase the team’s capacity to produce high-quality communications
  • Ensure all assets are on-brand and consistent with CodePath’s visual identity
  • Maintain an editorial calendar and refresh cycle so fundraisers have timely, relevant assets for priority opportunities
  • Project-manage CodePath’s annual report, including partnering with designers, managing funder outreach and clearance, sourcing student stories, and writing targeted sections. This work runs well above 30% in Q1 2027 and tapers as the report is finalized

End-of-year and online giving (~10%)

  • Lead end-of-year giving and other seasonal campaigns end to end, including audience strategy, messaging, digital integration, and project management
  • Own campaign performance across landing pages, email, digital assets, and fundraising platforms, using engagement and giving data to optimize
  • Monitor website and online donations, and identify opportunities to move digital donors toward deeper engagement and larger gifts
  • Develop targeted outreach and campaign messaging that motivates giving and strengthens donors’ connection to CodePath’s mission
  • Analyze campaign and donor data to improve future campaigns and convert one-time or smaller online donors into more engaged supporters
