People Business Partner

Latin America

About the Role

The People Business Partner (PBP) for Delivery & Engineering is a strategic and operational partner to our technical organization. This role blends classic HR business partnering with strong execution: supporting managers and team members day‑to‑day, while also translating People & Culture strategy into practical, scalable programs that work for a fast‑moving delivery and engineering environment.

You will serve as the primary People & Culture point of contact for leaders and team members across Delivery and Engineering: owning the employee experience end‑to‑end, identifying patterns and risks, and ensuring our people practices support high performance, engagement, and growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business, understands technical teams, and takes pride in making People programs actually work in practice.

How Our Values Show Up in This Role

Connection: You build trusted relationships with both individual contributors and our Delivery leadership team. You’re approachable, responsive, and seen as a reliable thought partner, not just an HR contact.

People First: You center fairness, clarity, and respect in every decision, whether advising a manager, supporting an employee concern, or navigating a sensitive change.

Excellence: You maintain high standards across people processes: accurate data, clear documentation, thoughtful guidance, and consistent follow‑through.

Passion: You bring care and energy to supporting technical teams, celebrating wins, addressing challenges head‑on, and continuously improving how we support our people.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Employee Support

  • Serve as the primary People & Culture partner for Delivery and Engineering teams.
  • Coach and advise managers on feedback, engagement, team dynamics, and employee relations matters.
  • Foster partnership between Studio Leads and Account Leads to ensure a consistent employee experience, moderating performance discussions to balance technical growth with client delivery excellence.
  • Support employees across the full spectrum of questions: from career growth and development to policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.

Employee Lifecycle Ownership

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition and Delivery/Engineering leaders on onboarding, ensuring new hires are set up for success from day one.
  • Support internal moves, role changes, and transitions (crossboarding), balancing business needs with employee experience. Serve as the subject matter expert on the L1-L7 Engineering Career Framework, ensuring clear promotion paths and objective assessment across all technical Studios.
  • Conduct and synthesize exit interviews, identifying themes and sharing insights with leadership.

People Programs & Project Execution

  • Lead the operational execution of People initiatives for Delivery & Engineering (e.g., performance cycles, engagement surveys, learning programs), ensuring strategic intent from the People Development Partner is delivered consistently and effectively.
  • Support the People & Culture strategy for new talent hubs in LatAm, ensuring local cultural alignment and successful onboarding for remote-first engineering teams.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Identify friction points in people processes affecting technical teams and propose practical improvements.
  • Create and maintain playbooks and documentation for recurring people processes to ensure consistency and scalability.

HRIS & Data Partnership

  • Partner with People Operations on HRIS accuracy, employee data changes, and reporting needs.
  • Use people data and feedback to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within Delivery & Engineering.

Flexible Team Support

  • Act as an agile resource across the People & Culture team during peak cycles (performance reviews, onboarding surges, engagement initiatives, audits, etc.).

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or People Business Partner, ideally supporting technical or delivery teams.
  • A proven track record of juggling priorities and stakeholders in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can serve as a trusted point of connection for managers and employees alike.
  • Service-minded, collaborative, and adaptable—with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • High standards for accuracy and quality, and pride in doing the small things well.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for building a great place to work, one thoughtful detail at a time.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

What You’ll Love

  • 100% Remote
  • Holidays off & Paid Time Off
  • Health insurance assistance program
  • Competitive USD compensation
  • Strong team culture and collaborative environment
  • Ongoing training and growth opportunities
