Role Overview
As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will be the critical bridge between our users and our technology. This is a unique "growth-track" role: you will start by acting as a code-level investigator—diving into the codebase to triage bugs, deploy fixes, and support our users.
The Path Forward: We are looking for a developer who wants to master our client's platform from the inside out. Once you have built a deep understanding of our product and architecture through technical support and triage, you will transition into a core Fullstack Engineering role, contributing to major feature development and system architecture.
-
Technical Triage & Investigation: Act as the primary technical point of contact, moving beyond surface-level symptoms to perform root-cause analysis within our Python and TypeScript codebase.
-
Bug Fixing & Feature Support: Write and deploy code to resolve issues, manage minor updates, and collaborate with senior engineers for code reviews and approvals.
-
Escalation & Documentation: Manage the hand-off of complex issues to specialized engineering teams by providing clear documentation and reliable reproduction steps.
-
Observability: Own the health of our systems by managing Grafana dashboards and automating analytics reports to keep stakeholders informed.
-
Continuous Learning: Proactively learn stack to transition from support-based tasks to full-scale feature development.
Minimum requirements:
-
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
-
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in software development . Experience in a role that blended development with technical support =.
-
Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python and TypeScript. You should feel comfortable navigating both frontend and backend environments.
-
Communication Mastery: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to translate complex technical issues into understandable language for customers and internal stakeholders.
-
Problem-Solving Mindset: A "detective" approach to engineering—you enjoy the challenge of finding the "why" behind a bug rather than just applying a quick fix.
-
Version Control: Experience collaborating within modern engineering teams using Git-based repositories and standard PR workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
AWS Ecosystem: Experience building or managing services within Amazon Web Services.
-
Data & Observability: Proficiency with Grafana or similar monitoring tools and an interest in automating operational reports.
Healthcare Domain: A passion for healthcare technology and an interest in how software can improve patient outcomes.
