About This Role:
As Social Media Manager, you will own the external representation of Google Data Centers across the U.S. and globally.
This includes leading, developing, and managing campaigns for a variety of social media channels, leveraging existing Google brand assets (copy, design, photo and video). You’ll also serve a the project management lead for all of the external engagement, as the voice of the brand.
This role involves managing the full scope of campaign development—from copywriting and design to photo and video production. You'll be responsible for translating business priorities into compelling digital content and maintaining a strong, consistent brand presence online.
This is a highly visible, strategic role that connects storytelling with impact, driving engagement through thoughtful, data-informed social media initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build and maintain a strategic content calendar aligned with business priorities and company engagements, including major announcements.
- Manage leadership and stakeholder expectations around content and performance.
- Collaborate with partner teams and creative vendors to develop and launch campaigns.
- Partner with the insights lead to track social performance metrics (likes, comments, follows, CTAs).
- Strategize and coordinate paid media efforts to support social media campaigns.
- Craft clear, on-brand copy and edit posts to maintain consistent voice and tone.
- Develop social media toolkits for internal stakeholders to support broader amplification.
- Identify and promote internal stories that highlight the positive impact of data centers on local communities.
Your Compensation:

Our budget for this role is $100,000 - 115,000, depending on experience.
