The Senior Vice President of Account Management is the executive leader of Coegi's client-facing organization, accountable for executive sponsorship of the client portfolio, organic client growth and retention across the agency, and the strategic development of the Account Management function. This role serves as the agency's senior client relationship executive — the person clients want in the room when something is hard — building lasting C-suite relationships and acting as trusted strategic counsel beyond day-to-day media. The SVP leads, coaches, and grows the Client Engagement team across multiple accounts and verticals, partners with peer leaders across sister agencies in the TIH / MTP network to deliver integrated solutions, and champions AI-augmented client service as a daily working practice. The SVP also partners with the President and Finance team on commercial stewardship, helping the agency build a more proactive, less reactive operating model. This role reports to the President, North America and supervises Account Directors, Senior Account Directors, and other senior client-facing leaders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Serve as the senior executive sponsor across Coegi's client portfolio; build and maintain lasting C-suite relationships with key client executives and act as trusted strategic counsel beyond day-to-day media.
- Lead the biggest client moments — QBRs, annual planning, renewals, escalations, and new business pitches — and serve as the senior client-facing presence in high-stakes conversations.
- Own organic client growth and client retention across the full portfolio; identify expansion opportunities, lead renewal strategy, and protect what the agency has already built.
- Lead, coach, and grow the Account Management team (Account Directors, Senior Account Directors, and other senior client-facing leaders) across multiple accounts and verticals.
- Set the standard for what great account management looks like at Coegi: clear communication, accountability, strategic depth, commercial judgment, and pace.
- Develop the next generation of senior client leaders through hands-on mentorship, stretch assignments, and direct, useful feedback; accountable for the engagement, growth, development, and retention of the senior team.
- Champion AI-augmented client service as a daily working practice: model hands-on AI fluency, set the bar for team adoption, and hold the organization to a high standard on AI capability development. Partner with Coegi's dedicated AI resources to translate AI capability into client-facing value.
- Own the department's client growth strategy, including frameworks for QBRs, client health monitoring, account planning, and data-informed growth decisions using client analytics and reporting tools.
- Partner with peer leaders across sister agencies in the TIH / MTP network to deliver integrated, network-leading solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with creative, content, analytics, and PR partners inside and outside the network to assemble the right team for each client opportunity.
- Partner with the President and Finance team on commercial stewardship: scope discipline, fee health, contract renewals, pricing strategy, and SOW frameworks; help build a more proactive, less reactive commercial operating model.
- Own the Account Management department P&L, revenue forecasting, and profitability standards across the portfolio in coordination with Finance and senior leadership.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development on expansion strategy, new business pitches requiring senior client leadership, and onboarding for major new wins.
- Represent the agency in high-stakes client conversations, executive reviews, industry events, and thought-leadership settings.
- Shape the evolution of the Account Management function — including ways of working, AI-enabled operating model, role clarity, and career pathing — in partnership with the President and senior leadership team.
- Serve as a member of the agency's senior leadership team; contribute to enterprise-level strategy, culture, and planning.
Supervisory Responsibilities

- Decision Quality: makes department- and agency-level calls under uncertainty; owns the consequences openly; models accountability for the entire Account Management function.
- Bias Toward Reduction: holds the department to the standard of solving with less; sponsors process retirements; refuses to confuse 'more rigor' with 'more steps.'
