We’re a mission-driven company powered by individuals who are fired up about making egg freezing and third party reproduction more accessible. We’re proud to engage in meaningful work that will impact tons of people through the family-building process.

What We're Looking For

We are hiring a full-time Head of Finance to join our team as we scale, following our recent Series A fundraise. This role is ideal for someone with deep financial expertise, who brings both strategic thinking and strong technical skills to the table. Startup experience is a plus, particularly if you've helped scale an earlier-stage, venture-backed company through rapid growth. As Head of Finance, you will work closely with the CEO to drive strategic financial planning, oversee budgets and forecasting, support future fundraising, and implement systems and controls that grow with us. We’re looking for someone who is just as comfortable owning our  financial model directly (we’re a lean team!) as they are leading high-level strategic conversations with investors and our Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership
    • Serve as a financial thought partner to the CEO and executive team to define OKRs and investment priorities, evaluating budget trade-offs with an ROI mindset
    • Develop projections for new markets, initiatives, and other opportunities
    • Develop short- and long-term financial strategies to support growth and profitability
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning analysis
    • Lead capital management and capital allocation activities for the organization
    • Own company-wide financial metrics and performance reporting, ensuring insights translate to action with cross-functional partners
    • Create dashboards to track and report on financial metrics, trends, and performance
  • Fundraising and Investor Relations
    • Prepare and present materials for board meetings, investor updates, and prospective capital partners, providing clear, data-driven insights into our performance and vision
    • Partner with CEO on future fundraising strategy and activities
  • Accounting & Finance Operations
    • Oversee accounting, financial reporting and closing, compliance, and audits
    • Manage our part-time Finance Associate responsible for member-facing financial coordination and billing
    • Evaluate and implement software, tools, and processes to streamline financial operations
    • Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and banking.
    • Maintain and improve internal controls to protect assets, ensure compliance, and support accurate reporting.
  • Team Management and Building
    • Scale the finance function in a disciplined, measured way in alignment with business need

Professional Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 7-10+ years of finance experience, with significant time spent in investment banking or private equity, as well as experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Deep knowledge and familiarity of GAAP
  • Exceptional technical finance skills, including advanced financial modeling, valuation, capital strategy, scenario analysis, forecasting, and data storytelling
  • Deep knowledge of financial statements, unit economics, and operational KPIs, especially in DTC or tech-enabled business models
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining dynamic financial models and dashboards to drive strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing directly with boards, investors, and executive teams
  • Experience with relevant software stack (e.g., Metabase or other BI software tools, QuickBooks, Ramp, Stripe, Carta, Rippling, Human Interest, etc.)
  • Prior experience in a venture-backed company and/or startup environment is a plus

Personal Characteristics

  • Strategic and analytical, with the ability to zoom out for big-picture thinking and dive deep into financial details
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and able to operate with a sense of ownership and urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to build trust across teams and communicate financial concepts clearly
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, with a continuous learning mindset
  • Mission-driven, with a genuine passion for making an impact in reproductive health, fertility, and family-building

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
