Our different business entities all have their own HR lead, supported by the HR operations team all with the objective to bring to life the best employee experience. To support our HR leads, we are looking for a cross-entity HR Generalist to support the running of People processes, contribute to process review and improvement, and support HR leads in the execution of projects.

Specifically, you will focus on the following topics:

  • Advice team leads and team members on company policies. Providing information, explanation and context for colleagues to decide on action to be taken.
  • Serve as a second line support for team leads and team members in case of questions and concerns on HR topics, including policies, ways or working, team dynamics and wellbeing. Escalation channel to HR Business Partners.
  • Support team leads and team members in navigating the relevant channels and facilities for the different HR topics.
  • Supporting and facilitating team members and team leads in their Employee Lifecycle, being available from hire-to-retire and pro-actively advising during moments that matter.
  • Supporting team leads and team members during complex cases, ensuring compliancy with laws and regulations, policies and processes.
  • Responding to and troubleshooting employee and manager-related workforce transactions and issues.
  • Initiating, leading and cooperating in HR improvement projects as part of the Continuous Improvement of HR  processes, execution, and technology usage.
  • Provide reporting support both internally and externally.
  • Share knowledge within the team and the other relevant parties to ensure highest possible quality of services and continuity.
  • Educate and instruct team leads and team members on different HR topics, supporting sustainable leadership and support.

What you will need

  • Able to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Continuous improvement experience & mindset
  • Good knowledge of Dutch labor law is mandatory. Knowledge of other European labor law is an asset
  • Experience in working in a highly matrixed and multicultural, international organization
  • High service-orientation, team-player with strong organizational skills, supporting colleagues in a professional manner
  • Ability to influence others and lead informally.
  • Problem solving mindset, positive and constructive attitude
  • Resilience, being able to work under high stress-situations and perform under pressure, with tight deadlines
  • Flexibility, pro-activity, independency, ability to multi-task
  • Trustworthy, discreet, respectful with cultural awareness, etiquette and diplomacy
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
