We're looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our COFRA team in Porto. You will join a multi-generational family business with a commitment to achieve systemic change across Liveable Cities, Responsible Capital, Clean Energy and Sustainable Food together with our management teams and mission-aligned external partners.

 

About the role

As an member of the Data & Analytics Team, the BI analyst is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of mission critical enterprise BI reporting. Working with cross-functional teams, you will be required to gather, document and collect business requirements for data analysis and reporting projects as well as using BI and database tools to develop reporting solutions to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Translate business requirements into technical design.
  • Develop and manage BI solutions using Microsoft applications (MS Fabric, Power BI, PowerApps).
  • Translate business requirements and processes into technical specifications to support data warehouse and data mart design and configuration.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to collect data and support the organisation’s mission.
  • Ensure the availability and performance of BI dashboards by providing ongoing support.
  • Provide technical assistance and cross‑training to team members.
  • Identify development opportunities to streamline and improve organisational processes, driving efficiency and better decision‑
  • Highly proficient in Power BI.
  • Advanced practical knowledge of Office 365 applications (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong and advanced data analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to manipulate, analyse and report data, drawing credible fact‑based conclusions.
  • High proficiency in interpreting complex data, identifying key issues and themes.

 

What You Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant area.
  • Experience in Data Analytics and Reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to both the bigger picture and detail.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a problem‑solving mindset.
  • Ability to read and interpret code (e.g., DAX, Python, SQL) and support applications, reports, and processes.
  • Practical knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Forms) is a plus.
  • DP-600 or an equivalent Data Analytics certification is a plus.
  • English (required).
