What you will do:
As a member of a software engineering team will build impactful healthcare technology on a
modern technology stack. Specific duties will include:
- Working on fast-paced, autonomous, agile teams to build and enhance a
growing software platform. - Developing end-to-end software testing framework to test releases and
platform enhancements. - Actively supporting the technical design process, bringing expertise and analysis to
help make data-driven decisions. - Contributing to software feature design, testing, and delivery of the Company’s
cloud platform and web applications. - Supporting all parts of Company’s platform from the database to the frontend to
build the automated testing suite and framework. - Continuously discovering, understanding, and implementing new
automation/testing technologies and services to maximize software
development efficiency. - Contributing to a culture committed to testing, quality, and attention to detail by
supporting best practices including writing and maintaining comprehensive
software test coverage. - Fostering a community of mentorship for junior software engineers.
Your background & requirements:
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science,
IT, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a closely related field and 7 years of experience as a
full-stack Automation Engineer. Must also have 5 years of experience (which can have been
gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) with the following:
- Cypress, including writing, automating, and maintaining end-to-end test case
automation; - Architecting and implementing automation frameworks for web and APIs;
- Modern web frameworks including React and TypeScript, and version control, unit
testing, and CI/CD pipelines; - k6 for performance testing of products using JavaScript language; and
- Automating applications on NoSQL technologies.
This is a telecommuting position working from home. May reside anywhere in the United
States.

The salary range for this position is $182,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
