Senior Software Engineer, Payment Integrity
Opportunity Overview:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced full-stack developer to join a healthcare analytics company driving meaningful impact by reducing the cost of care. You’ll partner closely with engineering, operations, and data science to build intelligent, scalable solutions that solve real business problems.

What you’ll do:
- Design and build high quality software applications which help clinicians to deliver the right care at the right place and right time.
- Develop maintainable, efficient code in languages like NodeJS in the native cloud environment.
- Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to identify bugs and ensure the delivery of the high-quality, secure code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the feature functionality aligns with business and client requirements.
What you’ll need:
- 6+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in full-stack development
- Strong experience with React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Backend experience with Node.js, microservices, and Python
- Experience designing scalable applications and database schemas
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization across systems and environments
- Familiarity with server-side templating languages
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2)
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Self-starter mindset with ability to identify and solve problems in a fast-paced startup environment

The salary range for this position is $128,000 to $145,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
