Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, playing a key role in driving new leads and prospects to our sales pipeline. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering company in the crypto industry and contribute directly to its growth.

You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers, setting appointments, and generating new business opportunities for our sales team. You will engage with potential clients through various outreach strategies, including phone calls, emails, and social media, while maintaining a strong focus on the crypto and blockchain sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential leads within the crypto and blockchain industries. Use various tools and platforms (LinkedIn, industry forums, crypto news, etc.) to find new business opportunities.
  • Prospect Outreach: Conduct targeted outreach to potential customers in the crypto and blockchain space through personalized emails, social media engagement (e.g., LinkedIn), and strategic cold calling. Build rapport, spark meaningful conversations, and generate interest in our solutions.
  • Qualifying Leads: Assess the needs of potential clients and qualify them based on their interest in our products/services, industry, and budget.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or demos for Account Executives (AEs) to further discuss our products and solutions with prospects.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, ensuring data is up to date and properly categorized for follow-ups.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies and ensure the seamless handoff of qualified leads to the appropriate team members.
  • Crypto Knowledge Development: Stay updated on crypto trends, news, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate the value of our product offerings to prospects.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally in the crypto, blockchain, fintech, or SaaS industries.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and the overall digital currency ecosystem. Familiarity with the latest trends, platforms, and regulations is a plus.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to engage with potential clients through effective communication (email, phone, social media) and handle objections professionally.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.), email outreach tools, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Motivation: Self-driven and goal-oriented with a passion for driving new business and a keen interest in the crypto space.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with prospects.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, eager to work alongside other teams (sales, marketing, customer success) to drive business growth.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the crypto or blockchain space, with a solid understanding of DeFi, NFTs, and other emerging crypto-related trends.
  • Previous experience in outbound sales or SDR roles within fast-growing tech companies.
