YOUR PURPOSE

Coin Metrics is seeking a Solutions Engineer to interface with customers and identify their needs. This role  works with various departments to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer's journey. You will work to balance multiple aspects of projects, from trial journey, project design to actual implementation. This person will research advanced technology regarding best practices in the field and seek to find cost-effective solutions.

YOUR VALUE

• Providing  detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved
• Partnering with sales to facilitate a consistent and high quality trial journey with prospective customers
• Creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team
• Establishing  a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration
• Analyzing current technologies used within the company to developing  and improve processes 
• Creating  and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, sample code, and other resources 
• Working  alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
• Staying  up to date on blockchain industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with APIs as well as developing IT and cloud infrastructure
• Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
• Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems
• Stay updated on blockchain industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Experience with software engineering, customer experience and design architecture
• Understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
• Professional work experience in analyzing computer hardware and software
• Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan
• Knowledge and experience in Python, Jupyter notebooks, SQL, R etc.
• Background in crypto and cryptoassets 
• Project development and leadership skill are preferred
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI is preferred
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred
