This position will require occasional travel for on-site team meetings in Newfoundland Canada, at least twice per year (primarily in December and June). We recognize that travel can involve personal commitments, and we strive to accommodate individual circumstances, however the expectation is that travel to, and attendance at, the majority of these events is mandatory. Details about travel arrangements and covered expenses will be discussed during the hiring process.
The Revenue Operations Technical Specialist will be the technical backbone of CoLab's revenue operations team. This role will manage, optimize, and integrate the tools and systems that drive sales, marketing, and customer success efficiency.
What you’ll do:
- System Design and Management:
- Own the design, implementation, and management of Salesforce, Tableau, Salesloft, CPQ tools, and other components of the revenue tech stack.
- Ensure all systems are optimized for performance and aligned with business needs.
- Technical Integrations:
- Oversee integrations across the tech stack to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to implement new tools and troubleshoot issues.
- Process Automation and Optimization:
- Develop and implement automation workflows to streamline revenue operations.
- Continuously evaluate systems for process improvement opportunities.
- Data Governance:
- Establish and maintain data governance standards to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Build dashboards and reports in Tableau and Salesforce to provide actionable insights.
- Cross-Functional Support:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align system capabilities with business needs.
- Provide training and assistance to teams on tools and best practices.
- Stay informed about new technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
- Lead the technical aspect of revenue operations projects, including migrations and upgrades.
What you’ll need:
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce development and administration (experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning).
- Hands-on experience with Tableau or similar BI tools for advanced data visualization.
- Experience with sales automation tools such as SalesLoft or Outreach.
- Knowledge of tools like HubSpot, Quicksight, Zendesk, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and Chili Piper and the integrations of those tools with Slack and Google Suite.
- Experience in analytics, including revenue forecasting, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success and finance teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Focus on quality and rigor - assessing and surfacing impacts of changes before they are deployed
- Ability to prioritize requests for development work based on business needs
- Strong project management skills with experience championing cross-departmental initiatives.
- Understanding of the inner workings of a B2B SaaS Revenue organization
