While many current positions have the option of working remotely, our offices are available for all employees to work from on a voluntary basis. We have beautiful offices in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, and Boston, MA to accommodate employees in a hybrid or full-office setting.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 *This role is for candidates living in Connecticut

C+C is looking for a highly motivated, outgoing professional to join the C+C Field Services Team in support of Energize Connecticut’s residential retail energy efficiency programs throughout Connecticut. The residential program currently consists of efficient appliances, water heaters, and smart thermostats at retail. To qualify for this position, you will need to demonstrate an account management approach to partner engagement and knowledge of the retail sales channel(s).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct field visits to up to 90 branches/locations a month
  • Oversee Retailer/Manufacturer promotional compliance and product placement in participating branches
  • Engage with partners to identify market barriers and key drivers to deliver solutions that motivate partners to promote the Energize CT program
  • Ensure partners are properly educated about the Energize CT programs, services, and promotional products so information can accurately be relayed to customers
  • Ensure correct pricing of rebated products
  • Deliver formal and informal retail employee training
  • Work with partners to maximize promotion and sales of Energize CT’s rebated items
  • Create, plan, and/or staff approximately two promotional events per month
  • Regularly report store visitations, trainings, and outreach event results to C+C management
  • Maintain, enhance, and document Eversource and Avangrid’s relationships with all program participants (customers, retail employees, and manufacturer reps)

The field representative will receive extensive on-the-job training in energy efficient products, Energize CT’s residential retail energy efficiency programs, and customer relations practices. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to learn new information quickly
  • Strong customer service and account management skills
  • Comfort presenting professionally in front of live and virtual audiences
  • Ability to perform outreach to leads, both warm and cold
  • Ability to communicate technical information to different audiences
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in customer relations, sales, or similar roles  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and Salesforce
  • Reliable owned or leased transportation with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
  • Residence in the region for which job is posted
  • Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • Background specifically in retail sales or with a utility and/or energy services company is a plus
  • Experience with energy efficiency is a plus

COMPENSATION
This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $56,000 to $63,000 plus bonus. We provide a work from home set-up as needed.
