Role Overview
The Influencer Specialist will support our client's Creator Marketing Squad, working closely with the Senior Retail Creator Strategist and our influencer agency partner. This role provides day-to-day oversight of retail sponsored content campaigns and leads pilot affiliate initiatives that generate revenue on Amazon and Walmart.com.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign + Creative Oversight
- Provide daily program oversight and manage approvals across retail sponsored content campaigns.
- Develop and refine agency briefs by synthesizing inputs from Brand, Retail Marketing, and Media partners (promotions, assets, seasonal priorities, messaging).
- Ensure campaign and communication strategies align with brand goals, retailer calendars, and performance objectives.
2. Affiliate Program Strategy + Execution
- Co-create affiliate strategies with the agency, including incentive design, perks, and engagement tactics to grow and activate an affiliate community.
- Drive learning agenda around messaging angles and content best practices.
- Partner with internal influencer and PR teams to cascade deal opportunities to advocates, publishers, and media partners.
3. Project Management
- Lead daily agency communication, prioritization, and workflow tracking.
- Manage inputs and approvals on behalf of the Sr. Strategist.
- Conduct detailed reviews of agency deliverables including:
- Program strategies
- Creator briefs
- Talent casting and approvals
- Concept review
- Content review
4. Quality Assurance + Compliance
- Uphold client brand standards and follow legal requirements.
- Ensure affiliate partners follow brand guidelines, FTC compliance, and promotional rules.
5. Reporting + Performance Insights
- Partner with agency to monitor weekly and monthly program performance:
- Sales
- ROI
- Conversion rates
- Affiliate engagement
- Summarize insights and recommended pivots for Brand and Retail Marketing to inform retailer conversations.
- Support auditing of agency budgets and expenses for accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in influencer marketing and/or affiliate marketing.
- Hands-on experience with affiliate platforms, incentive structures, and revenue-driving programs (Levanta, Amazon Associates, Walmart Creator).
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Creative sensibility and deep understanding of high-performing influencer content.
- Excellent communication and copywriting abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong at managing multiple work streams.
++ This is a six month long position from January 5 to June 30th. This role has the opportunity to extend past the six month mark.
Must be based in Eastern or Central Time Zone.
