About the Client Partnerships Team

The Client Partnership team leads the strategic and relationship side of our influencer marketing services agency throughout the lifecycle of an account at Collectively–ensuring our partnership with clients is successful, industry-leading and directly in support of our client’s creator marketing ambitions.

This team is focused on cultivating and growing successful relationships with account stakeholders in our client community through best-in-class work and services–delivering strategic influencer marketing proposals/RFPs, industry-leading thought partnership and ongoing strategic direction throughout the lifecycle of our agency/client partnership to support brands in becoming more effective, innovative creator-centric marketers.

Responsibilities

This role leads the day-to-day account and strategy workflows for at least 1 and up to 5 brands, and plays a critical role in ensuring our creator marketing solutions and strategies are applied practically to our clients' businesses.

The Sr. Manager of Client Strategy will report directly to a Director or Sr. Director of Client Strategy & Account Leadership or a VP of Client Partnerships, and be responsible for the following:

Program + Partnership Development (RFPs/Briefings)

  • Lead the approach to proposal development or response to briefs at Collectively, including:
    • Helping to brief and guide creative concepts in partnership with the creative team
    • Develop and articulate influencer campaign and creator strategies (via outlines & slides) based on RFP/Brief goals and that incorporates best practices or agency benchmarks
    • Curating a range of influencer campaign or services from Collectively
    • Presenting agency partnership / account management approaches
    • Conduct and synthesize relevant research & insights to shape strategy recommendations
    • Digest and understand clients RFPs/ briefs
    • Synthesize or draw on key trends and information from a variety of sources, including internal data, to inform conversations and RFP/Brief responses
    • Project manage responses cross-functionally start to finish:
    • Ideate RFP response with your account leader including:
    • Builds and recommends budgets against plans/RFPs
    • Works with Operations + Leadership to finalize scopes and staff plans
    • Ensure historic account or agency-wide performance data and current trends/best practices are considered
    • Project manages specialized creative or analytical support for RFPs/Briefs as needed
    • Leads the timeline of the response and coordinates pitch strategy with key leadership stakeholders
    • Coordinates and hosts briefings, preps materials and background for meetings with clients (agendas, cross-functional questions, follow ups)
    • Leads client comms either directly or indirectly to support your Account Leader
  • Experiment with and prepare and present POVs/best practices for existing & emerging platforms: (i.e. podcasts, TikTok, etc.)

Program Delivery (Campaigns, Servicing)

  • Setting the Revenue Delivery teams up for success from IKO through Wrap to ensure the “strategic threads” are maintained during account moments, including internal kick-offs, client kick-offs/discovery, client presentations, and wraps
  • Supports the strategic vision and goals of accounts in partnership with Director or Senior Director by providing guidance, contributions, and feedback on core deliverables: 
  • Assist Revenue Delivery team in responding to program and strategy shifts; helping to ensure projects aligned with client objectives and best practices, escalating challenges to leadership for input
  • Identify opportunities to optimize/upsell or pivot based on performance, trends, or client needs, including development of new materials or workflows in partnership with leadership
  • For Trend Marketing scopes, support or consult in the identification and alignment of trend spotting or social conversations on TikTok or Instagram that might be appropriate for clients to engage/brief creators on

Reporting & Analytics (Campaign Reports, Partnership Reports, QBRs)

  • Partner with the Analytics team to develop hypotheses for content performance and ensure set-up and early measurement 
  • During internal wrap development, responsible for shaping the story & narrative of program performance, assessing learnings to cultivate strategic insights for optimizations and evolutions, trends or learnings that drive more creator marketing programming through Collectively services
  • Engage with your account leader on opportunities to translate learnings into longer-term relationship or revenue growth
  • Develop an understanding and fluency with creator paid media, brand lift studies and how those tactics help communicate the effectiveness of influencer marketing
  • Leads/Hosts client reporting meetings, creating a warm and friendly environment and supporting IRL meeting dynamics (hosting) as needed if applicable

Relationship Development & Client Service Modeling

  • Conducts regular 1:1s or 2:1s (virtual or IRL) with clients either independently or with your leader to build trust, confidence and partnership in agency relationship
  • Bring a present and proactive eye to the working collaboration and dynamic between client and agency, spotting areas that feel off or clueing into client frustrations, experiences to surface to your account leader
  • Help uncover what’s working, what’s not–and supports plans of actions internally to evolve and service effectively, supporting your Account Leader on service satisfaction and retention activities
  • Synthesizes and communicates feedback between client and broader Collectively contributors and stakeholders
  • Maintain up-to-date research on your brand accounts, including relevant trends, industries, competitors, and products, using a variety of research tools and social media consumption (platform content, social listening, press/journalism, community surveys, etc)
  • Leverage findings in conversations to connect broader opportunities for brand/agency revenue

Requirements

  • Candidate must be located on the East Coast or in the Central Time Zone. (New York Metro Area a plus)
  • At least 5 years direct experience in influencer marketing at an agency
  • Both left and right brain thinker, equally comfortable with data and creative thinking
  • Independent, critical thinker; comfortable putting ideas backed by rationale and V1s out there, then getting steers from colleagues and clients to refine the work
  • Exceptional client servicing skills and instincts; loves to develop strong relationships with clients
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Great communication skills—both internally and externally, written and verbal
  • Ability to work efficiently across a variety of tasks and manage time appropriately for projects
  • Thrives in the “undefined” and enjoys fast-changing, fast-paced working environments

Pay

The pay range for this position is $98,000 to $118,000. Collectively takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
