Software Engineer - SRE Intern

About the Role

Detecting attackers in real-time requires a high-performance suite of software that enables machine learning and statistical techniques. We want dedicated interns to join our internship programme. You'll spend six months on one of our product engineering scrum teams fully embedded as a SRE/DevOps Engineer. Are you up for the challenge of something that is new in every sense of the word? The team you'll work with is composed by all seasoned DevOps & SRE engineers, covering both areas. DevOps is more focused on the development experience and all the pipeline that cover the passage of the code from source to production deployment. SRE is more focused on infrastructure, its design and maintenance, focusing on observability, reliability and performance. You'll be able to experience both areas, and operate on a wide number of technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working as part of an SRE/DevOps team, on a number of varying projects.
• Use of Python programming languages
• Managing of AWS resources and accounts
• Managing state of art infrastructure technologies as Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Kargo, Cortex
• Improving observability and reliability stance of production systems
• Follow team processes and methodologies, using agile techniques and GIT & JIRA tools.
• Adopt DevOps and SRE values and mindset
• Continual learning of techniques and technologies relevant to the role.
