Role Overview

We're looking for a Social Content Manager who is a skilled executor and creative producer. Someone who takes briefs, interprets creative direction, and brings ideas to life through scroll-stopping, emotionally resonant content for TikTok, Meta, and beyond. You'll work on the social team and closely with our Creative team to produce platform-specific content that drives engagement and supports our social strategy. Your focus is on content creation, execution, and trend ideation that keeps Comfrt relevant and connected. Reporting into the Director of Social and Content and working closely with creative team, graphic designers, external partners, this role will be highly collaborative and work cross functionally.

Key Responsibilities

Social Treatments & Graphics

  • Design social graphical treatments that align with campaign goals and brand aesthetic
  • Create consistent visual templates and assets for product drops, influencer briefs, and whitelisting campaigns
  • Ensure all social content maintains visual cohesion across channels and platform formats

Content Briefing & Strategy Ownership

  • Own the briefing process for social content initiatives, campaigns, and product moments
  • Develop comprehensive creative briefs that outline content needs, platform requirements, creative direction, and success metrics
  • Brief out to Creative team, external partners, freelancers, and activation teams with clear deliverables and expectations
  • Develop content outlines, shot lists, and storyboards for internal execution and external creator direction

Trend Ideation & Content Strategy Execution

  • Stay plugged into cultural conversations, trending audio, memes, and platform trends to inspire content concepts
  • Ideate on trending formats and sounds that align with Comfrt's brand and can be adapted for our products
  • Contribute trend-driven content ideas that support the broader social strategy and drive engagement

Collaboration & Execution Support

  • Work with the Social team, Creative Director, and Brand Marketing Manager to ensure content aligns across channels
  • Coordinate with external creators, editors, and freelancers to scale content output
  • Manage content calendars, production timelines, and creative workflows
  • Support influencer briefs, paid campaign creative, and product launch content with direction and assets

Performance Tracking & Iteration

  • Monitor content performance with support from the Brand Marketing Manager
  • Use insights to refine creative approaches and develop next-gen content concepts
  • Report on content learnings to inform future content strategy

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in social content creation, video production, or content production for digital platforms
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating strong video editing and content production skills (short-form video)
  • Expertise in platform-native trends. TikTok editing, transitions, trending audio, Instagram Reels formats, etc.
  • Strong writing skills with ability to adapt tone and pacing for different platforms and audiences
  • Hands-on experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Rush, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments and manage multiple content projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of content calendars, production workflows, and asset management
  • Comfortable receiving creative direction and translating briefs into executed content
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for social treatments and template creation

Platform Experience

  • TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest (content creation and trend familiarity)
  • Design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Content management tools (Sprout Social, Later, or similar)
  • Video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Suite preferred)
  • Design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing content across multiple social platforms simultaneously
  • Familiarity with content management platforms (Sprout Social, Later, etc.)
  • Experience with influencer campaign briefing and content direction
  • Knowledge of Shopify or e-commerce platforms
