Role Overview

We’re looking for a Social Media Designer to join our social team and bring Comfrt’s content to life visually across our social channels. This is a hands-on graphic design role focused specifically on social. You’ll work on the social team to design engaging, on-brand creative for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms. From campaign graphics and product moments to promotional content and day-to-day social assets, you’ll help make sure Comfrt shows up consistently and creatively across every channel. The ideal candidate is a strong graphic designer with a great eye, strong attention to detail, and a natural understanding of social media. You can take a creative brief or idea and turn it into polished, scroll-stopping design quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design graphics and visual assets for Comfrt’s social media channels
  • Work on our social team to bring content concepts and creative briefs to life
  • Create social assets for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and other platforms
  • Design creative for product launches, campaigns, promotions, announcements, and brand moments
  • Develop static posts, carousels, stories, thumbnails, and other social-first formats
  • Adapt creative across different platforms, placements, sizes, and formats
  • Maintain a consistent visual identity across all social creative
  • Collaborate with Social, Creative, Marketing, and Ecommerce teams as needed
  • Work from existing brand guidelines while continuing to evolve the visual expression of the brand
  • Incorporate photography, product imagery, typography, graphics, and other visual elements into compelling compositions
  • Retouch and edit imagery as needed
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Stay current on social design trends, platform formats, and visual culture
  • Take feedback quickly and make thoughtful iterations
  • Keep creative files and assets organized and up to date

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5+ years of graphic design experience, ideally within fashion, ecommerce, beauty, lifestyle, or another consumer brand
  • Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and social media work
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with Figma is a plus
  • Experience designing for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and a high bar for visual quality
  • Ability to take direction and execute against a creative brief
  • Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of ecommerce and consumer brand creative is a plus
  • Motion graphics or basic video editing experience is a plus

Platform Experience

  • TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest (content creation and trend familiarity)
  • Design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Content management tools (Sprout Social, Later, or similar)
  • Video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Suite preferred)
  • Design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing content across multiple social platforms simultaneously
  • Familiarity with content management platforms (Sprout Social, Later, etc.)
  • Experience with influencer campaign briefing and content direction
  • Knowledge of Shopify or e-commerce platforms

Portfolio

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating design across multiple social media platforms
