Position Overview:

We are hiring an exceptional VP of Product Management to lead the development of our enterprise-scalable data platform products, with expertise in the ecommerce and omnichannel retail domain. As the VP of Product Management, you will be responsible for setting the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for all our platform services, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs. You will drive the development of key platform capabilities such as Data as a Service (DaaS), AI as a Service (AIaaS), Workflow as a Service (WFaaS), Administration as a Service (AdminaaS), and User Experience as a Service (UXaaS), catering to the specific needs of ecommerce and omnichannel retail enterprise businesses. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to launch and scale SaaS platforms that support multiple analytical applications and drive monetization through data services in the ecommerce and retail sectors. You will be responsible for building a future-ready ECommerce management platform that powers global brands like Coca Cola, Pepsi, Nestle, Mondelez, and many more. You will lead a high-performance team of product managers, driving innovation and excellence in product development, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Platform Development: Lead the end-to-end development of our data platform and services, ensuring alignment with the tech and platform vision, and driving innovation and excellence in product development. Additionally, prioritize speed and efficiency in building applications on top of the platform, enabling rapid development cycles and quicker time-to-market for new features and solutions.
  2. Product Vision and Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive product vision and strategy for our enterprise-scalable data platform, with a focus on meeting the unique needs and challenges of the ecommerce and omnichannel retail domains.
  3. Monetization Strategy: Develop and execute a monetization strategy for data services, leveraging the platform to create a single source of truth and drive revenue growth.
  4. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in the ecommerce and omnichannel retail domains to gather feedback, validate product features, and ensure customer satisfaction, driving value and ROI for our customers.
  5. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performance product management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure alignment and successful product launches.

Key Goals:

Requirement:

  1. 15+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of building and scaling SaaS platforms.
  2. Experience building and leading high-performance product management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  3. Strong technical background with expertise in data analytics, AI, and cloud technologies, with a deep understanding of ecommerce and retail use cases.
  4. Demonstrated ability to drive product vision, strategy, and execution, delivering impactful results and driving innovation and excellence in product development.
  5. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and engage with customers.
  6. Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving business growth and success in the ecommerce and omnichannel retail sectors.

Skill and Knowledge (What they know / can do?):

  • Data Platform, Cloud operations and Devops expert.
  • Enterprise B2B experience of owning platform charter.
  • Built data platforms that have handled > 1 PB scale of data.
  • Built streaming architecture at scale with > 50M events per day.
  • Managed Cloud infra with > $5M of cost under their purview. 
  • Owned platform charter of a company that has hit scale and owned infrastructure cost to ARR as a metric.
