The Role:

Fueled by our customer and business growth, we’re looking for an Insights Manager to turn eCommerce, CPG, and category insights into winning business outcomes, ensuring our clients’ omnichannel and eCommerce success.

The goal of our Insights Team at CommerceIQ is to help our customers achieve profitable revenue growth by providing them with actionable insights and reporting. They do so by partnering with the CommerceIQ Customer Success Team and other cross-functional partners to drive eCommerce strategy and analysis. Since we partner with eCommerce sales and marketing operations teams on growing their businesses on Amazon and other eRetail platforms, our Customer Success Managers need to be skilled at understanding the customer’s business priorities and adept at guiding strategic conversations about CPG and eCommerce data, best practices, and outcomes. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Own strategic insights engagements with large CPG brand(s) including ownership over strategic reporting, analysis, and data-based recommendations of sales and eCommerce data
  • Strategize with CIQ customers to understand their eCommerce priorities and desired outcomes, driving impact-oriented reporting and insights that will help propel their business forward
  • Serve as a CPG industry and market expert, guiding conversations about CPG and eCommerce insights like profitability, margins, sales and more
  • Present large, strategic business insights and analyses to client eCommerce teams, driving data-based narratives and guiding clients to clear recommendations
  • Craft impact-oriented narratives from data, effectively using data to tell a story and drive client decision making
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Insights, Customer Success, Product, and more to drive client eCommerce strategy,  
  • Be an expert on the CommerceIQ platform, helping customers apply the platform information to their day-to-day business operations
  • Be the voice of your customers, collaborating with our internal teams to shape new reporting and product features and help us rapidly develop our offerings

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Communication, Economics or related field
  • 5+ total years of professional work experience 
  • 3+ years’ experience working at a CPG or FMCG brand, preferably with exposure to eCommerce sales management / data
  • Experience with eCommerce data through vendor/category businesses at Amazon, Tesco, or other relevant EU eRetail platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication, client presentation skills
  • Experience with Excel and Google Suite
  • Experience building and presenting polished decks to senior stakeholders

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is USD: £64,000 - £95,000 / per year.    

This base pay range may be inclusive of several career levels at CommerceIQ and will be narrowed based on a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.  

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at CommerceIQ. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock options, as well as potential discretionary bonuses.
