This position can be based anywhere in the United States, with over 50% travel expected to client locations.

The Role:

We’re looking for a customer focused leader to build and grow a strategy and operations practice at CommerceIQ. This function will help serve the needs of brand manufacturers partnering with us to win in omnichannel commerce.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Build and lead a world class Professional Services organization
  • Be a trusted and strategic advisor to CIQ customers for their omnichannel business
  • Create repeatable PS SKUs to proactively help customers with their GTM challenges
  • Own all aspects of the PS P&L: strategy, sales (co-owned with account reps), execution, hiring and building a strong team
  • Develop a strong understanding of the needs of CommerceIQ customers as they look to profitably win market-share in the high-growth e-commerce market
  • Develop repeatable service offerings that provide high value to our customers and are complementary to our SaaS offerings 
  • Hire and develop a strong team of consultants and analysts
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership at brand manufacturers, to become their trusted advisor and cement the CommerceIQ relationship 
  • Be the voice of the customer into Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product leadership and their execution
  • Create a “test and learn” harness for CIQ to experiment with new product ideas and bring learnings to the executive and product team
  • Lead services sales activities, including proposal generation, SOW creation, selling PS, change orders, and customer negotiations
  • Direct the activities of the PS team ensuring we deliver on time, within budget, and with high quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. Actively manage financials including team utilization, budget vs actual hours and project margins
  • Act as the owner for project issues, work with the team to develop solutions to problems, drive customer alignment, and be accountable for project success

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience working at or with omni channel organizations (Sales, Marketing, Strategy and Supply chain ops) with an understanding of emerging trends, GTM processes and technologies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and financial models
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset
  • Experience building a 10+ person high performing organization 
  • Experience recruiting and leading a high-functioning PS/consulting team
  • 8+ years client facing software implementation and/or consulting experience, with demonstrated success managing enterprise scale projects
  • Ability to confidently interface, respectfully challenge and build trust with VP and C-Level Sales and Marketing leaders in our customer accounts
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to make trade-off decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus)

Compensation and Benefits:

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is USD: $200,000 - $325,000/per year.  This role is expected to have a 60/40 split for base/commission.    

This base pay range may be inclusive of several career levels at CommerceIQ and will be narrowed based on a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.  

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at CommerceIQ. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock options, as well as potential discretionary bonuses. You will also receive access to comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k)-retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, and various other perks. We have at least 10 paid company holidays in each calendar year, in addition to this we have unlimited PTO for our full-time employees.
