COMMERCIAL PLUMBING & HVAC TECHNICIAN

Position overview

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing & HVAC Technician to join our growing team. This dual-skilled role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing both plumbing and HVAC systems for commercial facilities. The ideal candidate has strong technical abilities, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can adapt to a variety of mechanical and piping challenges.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and fixtures.
• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot plumbing and HVAC issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for both trades.
• Perform system tests to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with applicable codes.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project timelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working order.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety protocols. 

 Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing and/or HVAC experience (both preferred).
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (preferred).
• Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
