MARKETING DIRECTOR
As Marketing Director, you’ll lead the strategy, execution, measurement, and scaling of our content-driven demand generation efforts. Your mission is to build brand authority, drive high-quality inbound leads from ideal client profiles (ICPs), and accelerate business growth. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally (sales, service, software, leadership, sponsorships) to make sure there’s internal alignment and CTC’s marketing is an industry leader within ecommerce.

What Success Looks Like
- Define and lead the full content marketing funnel (from awareness to conversion) to drive ICP inbound leads.
- Experience with multi-channel campaign execution including podcasts, blogs, emails, social
- Proven track record designing and scaling content-led demand generation (inbound content that drives qualified leads).
- Build and manage a high-performing marketing team (consisting of full-time employees and contractors).
- Manage content production workflows, editorial calendars, and content operations for scale.
- Oversee AI SEO strategy, technical SEO, content optimization, and organic growth.
- Improve the quality and success of our written, image, and video content over time.
- Collaborate with the sales team to build alignment, feedback loops, and lead nurturing that drives conversions.
- Create and manage CTC’s general marketing strategy across content creation and distribution, events, and paid advertising efforts with the objective of attracting a target set of leads per month.
- Lead brand narrative, positioning, messaging frameworks, and thought leadership in the e‑commerce growth space.
- Skilled storyteller and communicator—capable of writing, editing, and articulating narratives at a high level.
- Mentor and develop direct reports, cultivating a culture of experimentation, excellence, and data-driven decision-making.
- Work closely with the service team to generate POV’s and public facing content that educates and entertains our ideal customer profiles.

SALARY RANGE
- $125,000 - $150,000 base salary, annually
