Role Overview
Common.xyz is seeking a creative and trend-savvy Video Social Media Associate to take ownership of our TikTok presence. This part-time contract role is ideal for someone with a passion for video content, a keen understanding of social media trends, and a proven track record of driving engagement. You’ll create, optimize, and manage the full lifecycle of content for our TikTok channel, helping us connect with and grow our community—especially within the crypto and Web3 ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop, shoot, and edit 20 TikTok videos per week that align with Common’s brand
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of TikTok trends, viral challenges, and emerging content formats to ensure our videos are timely and relevant.
- Crypto/Web3 Integration: Craft engaging video content that simplifies and highlights crypto and Common as a product for a diverse audience.
- Algorithm Optimization: Post and optimize content to maximize impressions, engagement, and reach using insights from TikTok’s algorithm.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, fostering conversations, and encouraging community participation.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track video performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve viewership and engagement.
- Channel Growth: Drive the growth of the TikTok account by creating shareable and highly engaging video content.
Requirements
- TikTok Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of TikTok’s platform, trends, and algorithm.
- Content Creation Skills: Proven experience in creating compelling and engaging video content from scratch.
- Crypto/Web3 Knowledge: A strong understanding of the crypto and Web3 ecosystem, including trends, terminology, and audience interests.
- Social Media Growth: A track record of growing video-focused social media accounts (personal or professional).
- Time Management: Ability to meet weekly content goals (20 videos)
- Creative Thinking: Ability to generate unique, on-brand ideas and execute them effectively.
- Data-Driven Approach: Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance and optimize content.
