About this Role:
The Training and Supervision Coordinator (“Coordinator”) is an integral member of Community Reach Center’s Quality Improvement (“Division”) Division. The Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects, reviewing compliance standards maintains quality assurance functions. The Coordinator will create a system of robust data conscious quality improvement strategies that informs, while connecting practice, training with organizational goals. Additionally, the Coordinator will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Quality Improvement.
Essential Functions:
- Conducts regular, at minimum, annual agency needs assessments in consultations with staff and management to identify knowledge gaps, skill deficiencies, and emerging behavioral health needs.
- Uses internal and external auditing results, agency strategic initiatives, and identified risk areas to inform the agency’s training needs.
- Plan, design, and write comprehensive training programs and/or lead projects with agency subject matter experts to develop training materials.
- Facilitate interactive workshops, lectures, and virtual training sessions for clinical staff, and interns using diverse learning modalities.
- Implements regular assessment and monitoring of training program effectiveness towards compliance and quality goals.
- Research, analyze, and evaluate changes to applicable federal and local statues, rules, regulations, and other compliance standards to recommend and implement action to ensures conformance with all training requirements.
- Supports Evidence-Based Programming across the continuum of programs services.
- Coordinates and manages the budget for all vendor or outside organization trainings.
- Schedules and administers all trainings for staff, and maintains meticulous records of staff attendance, certifications, and overall training participation for auditing purposes in designated LMS.
- Collaborates with Human Resources on new employee orientation requirements.
- Act as a liaison with local colleges, universities, and external healthcare providers to coordinate placements for interns and students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or directly related field is required.
- Eligible to be registered or licensed with Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) in area of professional practice (license not required).
- 2+ years of direct experience managing similar healthcare training operations, training design and delivery, or a combination of like experience.
- 2+ years of direct compliance and quality assurance experience (preferred).
- Strong professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
- Communication, organization, time management and clinical skills.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting is required,
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Schedule:
M-F 8-5
Salary Information:
$60,000-$65,000/yr
