The Partner Marketing Manager, APAC will be the Partner Marketing leader for the APAC region with a strong focus on ANZ and ASEAN. This person will be an individual contributor regional leader working with our field marketing team, our partner business managers and partner leadership to define and drive our partner marketing strategy. In this role you will use your strategic planning skills to drive business growth with and thru partners through building a regional strategy leveraging both local and global resources. You will be responsible for owning the MDF allocation within region, executing local events for global partners and building the relationships within region with the local partners. You will work hand in hand with the APAC Partner leader, the APAC Field marketing leader, and the global partner marketing team to drive partner led pipeline.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Lead the development and execution of marketing plans in the APAC region.
Work directly with GTM teams to develop the appropriate marketing strategy(s), subsequently reflected in the partner’s Commvault marketing plans.
Ensure that the appropriate marketing and enablement tools, processes and resources are available to the local partners in support of their growth efforts with Commvault.
Execute and socialize global marketing plans within region.
Work closely across business groups and build local marketing plans to align to business priorities (sales / pipeline / awareness / engagements/ enablement) and execute for success.
Influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative and creative marketing plans to bring our collective value to market.
Manage relationships with select partners in region.
Build and execute local Partner Advisory Boards.
Position Requirements Include:
Basic Knowledge of Cyber Resiliency, Data Protection, Security, Global Routes to Market via the Partner Ecosystem and associated technologies
10+ years of Marketing experience with at least 5 years in a partner facing marketing roles.
Ability to build and execute integrated marketing plans including campaigns, sales promotions, content, events, social media, PR to, with and thru partners.
Strong understanding of Partner Marketing levers including to/ thru partner campaigns, 1:1 Campaigns, 1: Many campaigns, Channel strategies and pipeline cascades
Experience of working with industry leading Service Providers and /or leading IT organizations in a partner mkt role
Strong influencing skills and internal collaboration and stakeholder management
Has managed marketing with global Cloud Partners, GSIs, local resellers, ISVs, MSPs and distributors in the past.
Strong professional leadership and cross group collaboration DNA
Executive presence and ability to influence across different stakeholder teams. Strong presentation skills a big plus
Ability to travel up to 25%
