We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is ready to tackle challenging technical problems, contribute to impactful projects, and grow their expertise in cloud-native backup solutions.
Team Introduction:
Our team is dedicated to developing innovative backup solutions for critical cloud data sets such as Amazon S3 and DynamoDB, leveraging cloud-native architectures, scalable infrastructure, and cutting-edge storage methodologies to deliver robust and efficient data protection capabilities.
What You’ll Do…
- Design and implement reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems as part of our backup solutions for Amazon S3 and DynamoDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and practices.
Technical Qualifications:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, with hands-on expertise in building and maintaining distributed systems.
- Strong computer science background with a deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex technical challenges systematically and creatively
- Strong programming skills in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Python, C++, Rust)
- Experience with RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience with data processing, backup and recovery systems, disaster recovery planning, and data protection strategies in cloud environments or other relevant specialized domains is a big plus
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a big plus
