We are looking for a Temporary Payroll Manager to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of Commvault’s payroll processing utilizing ADP as the payroll provider. Additionally, you will prepare and review journal entries and handle account reconciliation, assisting with the monthly financial close in a fast-paced Finance department. The successful candidate will be a team player, resourceful, self-motivated and highly organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for international countries utilizing ADP Celergo which includes but is not limited to:
    • Accurate salary calculations and variable payments
    • Ensure appropriate employee payroll deductions 
  • Manage payroll functions with patience; ability to adapt to constant changing requirements of multiple countries
  • Work with ADP and Human Resources to ensure required taxes, social contributions, benefit programs and other deductions are handled in accordance with local laws and regulations for each country
  • Ensure appropriate tax treatment for all payroll transactions
  • Maintain relationship with payroll providers to remain current on regulations and determine best practices
  • Recommend to manager changes in methods or procedures to improve efficiency of global payroll functions to ensure payroll requirements are met
  • Implement new systems and process to automate current manual payroll process
  • Communicate with all employees in support of payroll questions and reporting.
  • Ensure all of the quarterly/yearly filings and/or payments to government agencies, insurance carriers, other organizations and individual employees are appropriately reviewed and processed by the required due dates
  • Understand global payroll related accounting to prepare required payroll journal entries and reconciliations for multi countries; comply with Commvault’s company policies and controls
  • Process payroll related wire payments for employee net pay, tax payments and benefit payments
  • Manage team ensure all required timelines are met
  • Assist in building and training payroll team

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5+yrs Hands-on Global Payroll experience needed
  • Should have Payroll Lead/Manager experience
  • Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • B.S. in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Prior experience in Finance/Accounting preferred
