The Opportunity...
As organizations grapple with how to protect themselves from cyber crime, it’s important to not only think about safeguarding data but also to think about safeguarding the identity and access management systems that govern who is able to access what resources within the enterprise. If identity and access management systems are compromised, business can grind to a halt. It’s important to restore those systems as rapidly as possible, so employees can access the resources they need to get work done.
We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to help lead Commvault’s growing set solution set in the identity and access management space. Candidates are expected to have 5 to 10 years of experience product management in data protection, security, or identity and access management fields.
What You'll Do...
Job Responsibilities:

Work with Commvault strategy team to identify and prioritize the set of IAM solutions for which we will cover in our data protection offering.

Work with engineering teams to assess customer needs, build out the core set of MVP requirements, test them with design partner customers, and codify as our Identity and Access Management roadmap.

Collaborate with pricing teams to identify appropriate packaging and pricing including potential bundles with existing offerings.

Partner with product marketing and partner marketing to identify our primary routes to market and build compelling go-to-market plans aimed and driving customer and partner, awareness, trial and adoption.

Understand the competitive landscape and clearly identify Commvault points of differentiation relative to the competition.
Who You Are...
Required Qualifications:
-
5 to 10 years of experience in product management focused on data protection, security, or identity and access management. Candidates with experience in more than one of these areas preferred.

Strong critical thinking skills focused on market sizing and segmentation, competitive analysis, packaging and pricing analysis, other skills required for product managers.

Demonstrated success in building and launching new products with experience in gathering requirements, developing epic and user stories, crafting and executing a roadmap and driving product launches.

Excellence in verbal and written communication skills, , with the ability to convey complex technical concepts simply to a wide range of audiences.

US Pay Range
$139,400 - $264,500 USD
