Alliance Manager, ASEAN

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Alliance & GSI Manager to join our Asia business. As a key member of the APAC Channel and Alliances team, you’ll bring strong expertise in sales, partnerships, strategy, and relationship management. This role is responsible for developing and driving go-to-market (GTM) plans across a defined sales region, focused on accelerating the adoption of Commvault solutions through strategic alliances.

You’ll work closely with both internal stakeholders and partner organisations to build joint business opportunities, align on shared goals, and execute together to deliver measurable growth.

Key Objectives:

  • Build and execute strategic GTM plans with key alliance partners across the Asia region
  • Drive revenue growth through partner-led sales initiatives and co-marketing programmes
  • Strengthen Commvault’s partner ecosystem by enabling and equipping partners with the skills, tools, and support required for success
  • Develop deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in partner organisations to increase influence and alignment
  • Ensure consistent communication and collaboration across Commvault’s field sales, marketing, services, and global alliance teams
  • Measure and report on joint performance, identifying areas for optimisation and scale

How you will make an impact:

  • Sales Execution & Revenue Growth: Drive joint sales planning and execution with strategic partners to meet or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with internal sales teams to identify, qualify, and close partner-influenced opportunities. Track and report on pipeline development, deal progression, and partner-sourced revenue.
  • Strategy: Define and implement Commvault’s GTM strategy with named alliance partners, focusing on long-term value and sustainable growth. Co-develop and execute joint GTM plans, including campaigns, enablement, and field engagement. Align partner offerings with our value proposition to create compelling joint solutions.
  • Planning: Develop joint business plans with partners, aligning on revenue goals, capability development, and focus areas. Collaborate with Field Marketing, Pre-sales, and Services to create enablement and execution plans tailored to the region.
  • Execution: Lead joint sales motions and marketing activities, conduct regular business reviews, and influence a virtual team across Sales, Pre-sales, and Marketing to deliver against GTM objectives.
  • Enablement: Ensure partners are fully equipped to represent Commvault and build or deliver joint solutions. Coordinate with enablement and technical teams to build sales, pre-sales, and technical capabilities.
  • Mindshare: Build senior-level relationships within partner organisations to strengthen alignment and elevate Commvault’s position. Drive executive engagement and create compelling joint value propositions.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, business updates, and share best practices across regions and business units.
  • Alignment: Collaborate closely with global and APAC alliance leads to ensure consistency, leverage shared insights, and align on strategic initiatives.

Who you are

  • Proven track record in global alliances or managing large strategic partner accounts for a leading software business.
  • Proven track record of driving partner-led sales and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
  • Executive-level selling experience, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong planning skills with experience developing and executing joint GTM and business plans with global partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive execution through virtual and cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Background in both direct sales and partner/channel sales is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills – articulate, persuasive, and confident in both written and verbal formats.
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Comfortable working in a matrix environment and collaborating across geographies
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Asia region
