Commvault is seeking a Senior Regulatory Associate to join our growing Global Compliance team. This role will support key regulatory compliance programs, including privacy and AI governance, through internal assessments, audit coordination, assurance documentation, and metrics tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal readiness assessments and gap analyses across key regulatory compliance programs;
  • Maintain and enhance regulatory crosswalks that map global legal obligations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act) to internal policies, controls, and processes;
  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating evidence collection, drafting responses, and tracking remediation activities;
  • Develop and maintain structured documentation to support audit readiness, control visibility, and overall program assurance;
  • Perform light-touch testing and monitoring of key compliance controls and support documentation of testing outcomes;
  • Track and report on implementation progress for regulatory policies and procedural rollouts, including supporting evidence and stakeholder coordination;
  • Maintain an internal audit and assurance playbook, including templates, timelines, and process guidance;
  • Assist with reporting to senior leadership, including development and maintenance of dashboards and performance metrics;
  • Collaborate with program leads to monitor compliance risk and improve assurance frameworks and internal controls;
  • Stay informed on developments in global compliance and audit standards and support their integration into internal practices.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in compliance, audit, or regulatory assurance roles
  • Experience conducting gap assessments, managing audit preparation, or supporting program assurance;
  • Familiarity with privacy, AI governance, or cybersecurity laws and standards (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act, ISO 27001, NIST frameworks);
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear audit documentation and stakeholder reports;
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision;
  • Experience working in a global technology company or supporting multinational compliance frameworks is preferred.
