As an MSP Partner Executive at Commvault, you will own and grow a defined portfolio of Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners across Southeast Asia, helping them modernize and scale their managed services using Commvault’s industry-leading cyber resilience platform.

Your focus will be on acquiring new MSPs, deepening strategic relationships, and driving sustained consumption growth by positioning Commvault as the partner of choice for data protection, cyber recovery, and hybrid/multi-cloud resilience. You will serve as the primary peer-to-peer executive contact for MSP partners, strengthening Commvault’s relevance within their services portfolio and enabling them to differentiate in a rapidly changing virtualization and cloud landscape.

This role spans the full MSP lifecycle — from onboarding and enablement to adoption, expansion, and long-term value realization — with a strong emphasis on recurring, consumption-based revenue (MRR/ARR). You will operate in a consultative, outcomes-based selling motion, focused on business value, total cost of ownership (TCO), and return on investment (ROI), rather than traditional license-led sales.

What You’ll Do:

MSP Partner & Channel Development

  • Identify, recruit, and develop high-potential MSP partners across Southeast Asia aligned to Commvault’s cyber resilience and managed services strategy.

  • Build and maintain trusted, executive-level relationships with MSP owners and leadership teams, acting as a strategic advisor to their business.

  • Position Commvault’s cyber resilience, data protection, and recovery solutions as foundational services within MSP portfolios, supporting on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.

  • Enable MSPs to differentiate through Commvault’s any-to-any workload portability, broad hypervisor and cloud support, and unified policy-driven platform.

  • Drive partner onboarding, technical and sales enablement, and ongoing readiness through structured programs, playbooks, and sales collateral.

  • Develop joint go-to-market strategies and account business plans in collaboration with MSP partners and Commvault Direct Sales teams.

  • Build and execute partner business plans focused on strategic ecosystem partners and scalable managed service offerings.

  • Execute and measure partner-led demand generation initiatives, tracking ROI, pipeline impact, and consumption growth.

  • Establish clear KPIs, operating cadence, and performance reviews to drive accountability and predictable execution.

  • Oversee MDF, rebates, partner programs, reporting, and order operations to ensure a seamless MSP experience across Commvault functions.

Sales Execution & Growth

  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, consumption, and growth targets.

  • Collaborate with MSP partners on active opportunities, pipeline development, and accurate forecasting within a consumption-based sales model.

  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations, including pricing and long-term agreements, aligned with Commvault’s MSP and as-a-service offerings.

  • Work closely with channel, pre-sales, field sales, and customer success teams to deliver tangible business outcomes for MSP partners and their customers.

  • Leverage MSPs as a force multiplier to expand Commvault’s footprint and influence revenue across cyber resilience, ransomware recovery, and managed data protection services.

Cross-Functional & Customer Success Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Customer Success to deliver a best-in-class MSP experience, driving adoption, retention, and expansion.

  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align on regional growth drivers, strategic initiatives, and mid- to long-term investment requirements.

  • Contribute to a scalable, repeatable MSP engagement model that supports consistent year-over-year growth in ARR and MRR.

 

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales within an MSP, channel, or service-provider-focused role.

  • Experience in data protection, cyber security, cloud, or infrastructure software strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of MSP business models, consumption-based pricing, and managed service economics.

  • Proven ability to operate autonomously within a region while collaborating effectively with global teams.

  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strategic, outcomes-driven mindset with a strong bias for execution.

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
