About the Job

We are looking for a motivated and data passionate business analyst who will be responsible for structuring data, review and analysis of information and documenting process for the use of business by creating, analyzing and providing insights on data gathered to help the business in its decision making including the implementation and support of business information system across multiple departments.

The Lead, Business Analytics will be responsible for:

  • Understand business needs and objectives and develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Lead regular business and performance analysis, analyzing product lines and the overall profitability of the business. Be able to outline problems, opportunities and possible solutions based on data.
  • Collaborate with multiple department owners in evaluating processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, and compile data needed to identify trends and patterns, then make recommendations for business actions to drive P&L.
  • Lead monthly forecasting, monitor performance results, and conduct gap analysis to achieve target objectives
  • Identify and investigate variances, discrepancies, or deviations from forecasted figures and analyze root causes.
  • Transform raw data and automate extraction of reports from multiple sources (e.g. operations, marketing, customer feedback).

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience analytical role.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Google Sheet is essential. Knowledge of Google Analytics, Metabase, R, SQL, and automation tools such as Zapier would be a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 
  • Proficient in data visualization to communicate insights.
  • Able to develop productivity and business improvement strategies with associated analysis.
  • Ability to apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.
  • Structured problem-solving skills that include root cause analysis and business process design.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving attitude.
  • Must possess excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter that is results oriented. Able to operate effectively and drive change in a start-up environment.
  • High sense of urgency and best in class work ethics.
  • Willing to work in Makati on a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Flexible to shift changes (as required by the business).
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Objectivity to make rational business focused recommendations.

Good to have:

  • Demonstrated track record of managing small to medium sized projects is a plus.
  • Programming/coding experience is a plus.
  • Experience in digital analytics and CRM data would be a plus.
  • Knowledge in analytics process improvement would be a plus.
  • Experience in the financial industry would be a plus.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?
