About the Job

As the Head of Corporate Communications, you are an experienced and strategic communications leader who will lead our communication efforts across multiple fronts.

You'll shape and safeguard the organization's reputation, fostering effective communication internally and externally with media, analysts and employees through corporate communications, reputation building, issues and crisis management, consumer PR, investor relations and employee engagement. You'll play a critical role in shaping our external and internal messaging, enhancing our brand reputation, and driving business objectives.

The Head of Corporate Communications will be responsible for:

  • Corporate Communications:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies to enhance MoneyHeroGroup's brand reputation, promote key messages, and engage stakeholders across various channels.
    • Oversee the creation of press releases, executive communications, thought leadership articles, and other corporate content, ensuring alignment with brand identity and strategic objectives.
    • Manage media relations efforts, including proactive pitching, media inquiries, interview coordination, and crisis communication, to secure positive coverage and manage reputational risks.
    • Cultivate relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers, serving as a trusted spokesperson and ambassador for MoneyHeroGroup.
  • Reputation Building:
    • Develop and execute initiatives to enhance MoneyHeroGroup's reputation and thought leadership in the financial services industry, including participation in industry events, speaking engagements, and awards programs.
    • Identify opportunities to showcase MoneyHeroGroup's expertise, innovation, and impact through thought leadership content, partnerships, and industry collaborations.
  • Issues and Crisis Management:
    • Develop and implement crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage and mitigate reputational risks and issues that may impact MoneyHeroGroup's brand and business operations.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and spokesperson during crisis situations, providing clear and timely communication to internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, investors, and the media.
    • Conduct post-crisis debriefs and analysis to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement in crisis preparedness and response.
  • Consumer Public Relations (PR):
    • Develop and execute consumer PR campaigns and initiatives to raise awareness of MoneyHeroGroup's products, services, and brand messaging among target audiences.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate PR efforts with broader marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and maximizing reach and impact.
    • Monitor and analyze consumer sentiment and feedback, leveraging insights to inform PR strategies and initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Investor Relations (IR) Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for analysts, managing relationships, responding to inquiries, and providing accurate and timely information.
    • Plan and execute earnings calls ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making.

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Marketing Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
  • Experience in driving communications in a start up that listed successfully
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by MoneyHero Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on MoneyHero Group’s behalf.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.
