About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of the organization through meticulous tracking, analysis, and reporting and report directly to the Regional Finance Manager.

 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Month-end and Financial Reporting:
    • Full accountability of month-end closing for SG entities
    • Main in charge of revenue/direct cost booking and discussion across departments and calculation of accrual related to revenue/direct cost.
    • Handles and manage treasury function of the entities, managing cashflow, credit control and ensure prompt collections and payments
    • Review and approval of invoices and statements from vendors and preparation of payable records
    • Support in reviewing and reconciling intercompany transactions and balances
    • Perform month-end closing and financial analysis and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
    • Prepare reports and assist in ad-hoc duties assigned by the group finance team.
  • Audit & Tax Support:
    • Prepare audit schedules and collaborate with auditors during inquiries
    • Mainly in charge of liaising with external auditors and tax consultants to file for audit and tax returns.
    • Participate in reporting to HQ Finance during reportings, due diligence audits, and Group audits
  • Regional Finance Support:
    • Support the Regional Finance Manager with Singapore / Hong Kong / Taiwan market mainly along with various markets’ entities
    • Collaborate on projects and tasks as needed
  • Process Improvement:
    • Contribute to the improvement and optimization of existing processes and controls
    • Participate in group-wide projects to enhance financial and operational efficiency

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in finance and accounting roles and audit background, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in handling month-end closing and statutory reporting independently
  • Detail-oriented and can work under pressure, strong collaboration skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., SAP, Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Good to have:

  • Prior experiences in audit, financial technology firms and thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
  • SAP experience is a plus

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.
