Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly motivated and competitive Life Insurance Specialist to join our team and drive the expansion of our business. The primary responsibility will be to proactively seek out and acquire new clients, understanding their specific life insurance needs/requirements and offering tailored solutions. By building strong relationships, the aim will be to facilitate business growth and enhance our firm’s reputation in the market. As a Life Insurance Specialist, He/She will play a crucial role in promoting our insurance providers and services. This will involve engaging with potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our offerings, and effectively closing sales. Additionally, He/She will actively contribute to our marketing efforts and stay updated on industry trends to provide informed recommendations to clients. Ultimately, the dedication and results-driven approach will contribute to the overall success and growth of our firm.

About the Job
The LIFE INSURANCE SPECIALIST implements effective sales strategies to sell the life insurance premiums. They reach out to potential clients, establish rapport, and understand their requirements. They offer suitable insurance plans based on the clients’ needs and collect information to provide the best solutions. They are also required to comply with company policies. Ultimately, their goal is to acquire new clients, build strong relationships, and contribute to the growth of the life insurance LOB (Line of Business) under the Telesales Department.
The LIFE INSURANCE SPECIALIST will be responsible for:
- Implement effective sales/marketing strategies to sell new insurance contracts or adjust existing ones
- Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc.
- Appraise the wishes and demands of individual customers and sell the suitable premium plans
- Collect information from clients on their risk profiles in order to offer them the proper solution.
- Retain continuous awareness of transactions, sales and terms and keep relative records
- Check Life insurance claims to solidify trust and safeguard reputation
- Frequently replenish job-specific knowledge and apply it on the operations/production floor
- Fulfill all company-established policy obligations
In this role, we are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a Life Insurance Sales Representative
- Good comprehension of insurance plans including automobile, fire, life, property, medical etc.
- Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings
- Goal-oriented
- Excellent skills in communication and presentation
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting
relationships
Good to have:
- Effective Sales Skills
- Exposed to Outbound Selling for 2-3 years
- Sound Knowledge of the Life Insurance industry is advantageous
- Good Time Management skills
- Highly Motivated
- Good Communication Skills both written and verbal.
