QA Engineer

THE ROLE

YOUR TASK

  • Provide quality assurance testing for software delivering content on the web - Enable product innovation through collaboration, evolution and experimentation
  • Collaborate closely with product team members, designers and engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
  • Challenge the status quo - we aren’t hiring to stay as we are, we want people that are here to shake things up and show us new ways of thinking about the team and tracking progress through measurable and quantifiable actions.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical details effectively across disciplines, locations, and organizations, including to senior leadership -
  • Own the testing function within the team. Understand and implement best test practices, process and methodologies
  • Create and execute systematic test plans and test scripts from functional specifications, manage test data and assemble test cases
  • Collaborate with cross functional agile teams to plan stories and develop acceptance criteria. Provide timely and accurate QA status
  • Triaging issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
  • Guide stories through development and testing until they meet Definition of Done

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • You have the eyes of a hawk – a true eye for detail and can spot a pixel out of place.
  • Proficient with issue tracking tool (ie., JIRA) and test management tool (ie., X-Ray) (5+ years commercial experience)
  • Experience in Cross browser and device testing. 
  • Business level English fluency
  • Knowledge of code quality and performance analysis tools.
  • Experience in Cross browser and device testing
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (ie., Selenium / nightwatch).
  • Sound experience in API testing using a tools (ie., SoapUI / Postman)
  • You are analytical and methodical, while being curious and proactive. 
  • You can identify and record problems clearly, but also try to work out what is causing them and what the implications are on other parts of the software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by MoneyHero Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on MoneyHero Group’s behalf.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

What if you do not supply your personal data?

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the us during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all.
