About the Job
We are looking for an energetic, dynamic sales and business development professional to build and expand relationships with Hong Kong’s financial institutions. You will be the first point of contact of the financial institutions - whether they are the business owners of an up and coming brand or a key decision-maker in a well-established financial institution.
The Senior Manager, Business Development will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain relationships with Hong Kong’s leading financial institutions, such as banks, virtual banks, money lenders, and securities brokers.
- Provide regular insights, analytical and performance reports for the business partners in financial institutions.
- Oversee the whole business development process, including new client prospecting, structuring and negotiating commercial deals, client onboarding and continuous client support, regular business performance review, and up-sales.
- Lead new initiatives and help devise strategies to grow revenue through new activities, campaigns and proposals
- Own the assigned revenue target in achieving growth for the specific vertical.
- Assist with ad-hoc account management projects/analysis for management-level initiatives.
- Coordinate with the internal cross functional team (e.g. marketing, operations, customer service) on campaign execution and support
- Relay client feedback to the wider team, including to help improve the SingSaver platform, drive data optimization initiatives etc.
In this role, we are looking for someone with:
- Are a results/targets-driven, focused personality with 5 to 10 years of experience in a business development role
- Have experience leading initiatives in driving growth (possibly in a B2B2C/two-sided marketplace business)
- Have financial industry experience in Hong Kong and digital marketing process - this is preferable but not mandatory
- Embrace change and flexible environments
- Don’t accept the status quo and are comfortable driving change
- Have strong interpersonal and social skills; comfortable with building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and can successfully navigate complex organizational structures
- Have strong problem solving and analytical skills with great execution skills
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese, both written and oral
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Are humble and lead by example, set the right context and help teammates do their best work Interest in and intellectual curiosity about personal finance
