Director, Adult Virtual Programming
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
About This Role
Compass Health Center is seeking a Director of Adult Virtual PHP/IOP Programs. If you thrive in a collaborative, virtual environment and are ready to lead a team of talented therapists while ensuring high-quality patient care, you would be a great addition to our team!

What You'll Do:
- Oversee quality of care in virtual PHP and IOP programs for 18+ population
- Manage team of Over 18 Daytime group therapists, family therapists, and primary therapists with support from Virtual Programs Senior Director
- Conduct and document intakes of new patients to the program as needed
- Field calls regarding possible intakes and collaborate with front office staff on scheduling intakes
- Meet with patients individually via Zoom to assess and chart progress of treatment
- Assess patient’s progress and need for higher level of care, step down or discharge
- Guide discharge planning with treatment team to ensure continuity of care
- Provide video and phone coaching to patients
- Engage in frequent communication and collaboration with team members via virtual rounds, EMR notes, emails, and phone communication
- Coordinate care with patient’s outside providers via Zoom, phone and email to ensure continuity of care
- Provide virtual group, individual, and family therapy, as needed
- Provide clinical oversight to virtual primary therapists, group therapists, and family therapists and assist them in successfully managing their individual caseloads
- Lead crisis management response
- Ensure that all documentation and data are tracked/completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Oversee initial and continuing insurance needs of patients through frequent communication with Utilization Review Team
- Provide clinical supervision for staff working toward licensure, as approved by Senior Director
- Partner with Virtual Evening Program Director and Associate Director of Daytime Programs to assess team needs, develop and enhance virtual group curriculum, and facilitate professional development of staff
- Ensure that program activities are aligned with Compass values and mission statement
- Ensure that virtual team/programs adheres to all policies and procedures
- Effectively coordinate with other Compass programs, departments, and sites
- Coordinate community outreach (ex: provide trainings, cultivate referral sources)
- Actively engage in Over 18 virtual program development and expansion
- Participate in interviews with Virtual Program Directors, as needed
- Meet with Virtual Program Senior Director on a regular basis for supervision/consultation
- Meet with all direct reports individually at least once per month to support their clinical and professional growth and development
- Complete annual performance reviews for direct reports
Who You Are:
- Licensed Doctorate Level Psychologist or Masters Level Clinician (Counseling or Social Work)
- Clinical experience conducting assessments, individual, family or group therapy experience
- Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other empirically supported treatments.
- Experience with patients in crisis
- Program development and implementation experience
- Experience supervising therapists, both licensed and seeking licensure
- Excellent time management
- Ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment
- Experience working at a PHP/IOP, hospital, or residential program preferred

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges.
This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus which is dependent upon individual and company performance.
Compensation
$90,000 - $110,000 USD
