Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role
Compass Health Center is seeking a leader for our Young Child program, overseeing Primary and Family Therapy at our Chicago location.
We’re looking for an experienced therapist who will lead a team of Primary and Family Therapists and assist Compass leadership in the Young Child Program while continuing to participate in direct patient care. Our Young Child (YC) Program works with patients primarily between ages 5-10.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with program director/associate director to assess overall delivery of primary therapy and family therapy services to the YC program
- Provide managerial oversight for Primary and Family Therapists within YC
- Provide guidance to Primary and Family Therapists regarding organizing and fulfilling their role responsibilities
- Facilitate training to new Primary and Family Therapists
- Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as other evidenced-based therapies
- Provide clinical supervision for staff working toward licensure, as needed
- Serve as a Primary therapist to a caseload of patients including but not limited to creating and updating treatment plans, charting in our electronic medical system, and coordinating care with patient’s outside providers to ensure continuity of care (Max Caseload: 50% of Primary Therapist Max Caseload for YC)
- Engage in crisis management, as needed
- Partner with program director/associate director to champion change management efforts by engaging staff, guiding the YC team through transitions, and motivating employees to meet and exceed organizational goals.
- Participate in professional development activities
- Participate in community outreach activities
- Interview, hire and onboard staff
- Engage in frequent communication and collaboration with team members via rounds, EMR notes, emails, and face-to-face communication.
- Write and deliver performance reviews for Primary and Family Therapists
- Provide feedback and explore ways to increase quality and consistent delivery of care
- As needed, provide coverage for EIOP as acting manager onsite
Who You Are:
- Master’s level clinician with 3+ years of post-master’s clinical experience conducting individual, family, and/or group therapy.
- Clinical licensed required: PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC
- Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing CBT, ACT, and DBT among other effective treatments.
- Experience with patients in crisis.
- Experience supervising mental health workers, both licensed and seeking licensure.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Strength in collaborating and consulting with various programs and their differing needs
- Strong communication skills

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges.
This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus which is dependent upon individual and company performance.
Compensation
$70,000 - $85,000 USD
