This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is based out of the Mankato, MN; Rochester, MN or Sun Prairie, Wi offices.
The contributions you will make:
The purpose of this position is to guide and lead the order processing of new vehicles for lease clients, acquisition clients and Compeer team members.
A typical day:
Customer Service.
- Serves as fleet team services contact while providing vehicle specification quotes, lease rate quotes to clients, fleet prospects and team members.
- Provides lease term recommendations and vehicle specification recommendations based on the usage that is described by the client or team member.
- Assists fleet prospects and clients through Compeer’s credit application process via OTS or lease line of credit.
Fleet Management Program System.
- Places new vehicle orders, including vehicle purchase order creation, title and license instructions, power of attorney, vehicle delivery receipts and sales tax-exempt information.
- Assists with title registrations and transfers based on state requirements.
- Reviews and reconciles the dealer order acknowledgements to insure the vehicle that is ordered as the client requested.
- Logs vehicle orders in the master fleet file, SalesForce or OnBase.
- Researches used vehicle fair market values to establish a fair market value average, and a market value range.
- Codes and approves all AP requests, computes and analyzes business cost per miles for company vehicles.
- Compiles data to accurately report Compeer’s business cost per mile report.
Fleet Management Services.
- Assists in closing of vehicle leases, knowledgeable of Compeer lease documents, credit application process, used vehicle values, fuel card program, maintenance management program, title and registration process, license and title instruction generation, vehicle disposal, TRAC gain or loss summary, vehicle invoice payment process, client invoicing.
- Coordinates Fleet Team marketing materials, fleet brochures, display materials and leasing and trade credit market materials as assigned.
Product Knowledge.
- Develops and maintains a solid working knowledge of all fleet management products offered by the Trade Credit and Leasing Group.
- Attends annual manufacturer’s new product shows, attends NAFA meetings as it relates to fleet management topics.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
- Associate’s degree in business administration, finance, agribusiness or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fleet management, leasing, sales/marketing, credit, automotive service/sales or related field, preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of all phases of fleet management, leasing policies, practices, procedures, vehicle maintenance/repairs and programs.
- Strong knowledge of current industry standards and best practices.
- Proven client service and effective team skills.
- Strong understanding of Compeer lease terms offered to fleet lease clients.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
- High level of integrity.
- Strong problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), with an understanding of, and ability to use, related industry business/financial applications.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
- Valid driver’s license.

Our job titles may span more than one career level (associate, senior, principal, etc.). The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
Base Pay
$50,900 - $72,100 USD
