Backup Dentist – Bay Area PACE Centers (Part‑Time / Per‑Diem)

Compensation: $900 per day

Schedule: ~2 visits per month

Preferred Availability: Fridays

About the Role

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a reliable Backup Dentist to support our Bay Area PACE centers. This role is ideal for a dentist who enjoys flexible scheduling, predictable monthly work, and providing essential care in a structured outpatient environment.

PACE centers offer a collaborative, interdisciplinary model focused on keeping seniors independent and medically stable. As a backup provider, you will step in for scheduled and unscheduled coverage needs across multiple Bay Area PACE locations.

PACE Center Locations

You will provide coverage across the following PACE sites:

  • Oakland, CA 94611

  • San Leandro, CA 94577

  • Livermore, CA 94551

  • El Sobrante, CA 94803

  • Oakland, CA 94605

  • Concord, CA 94520

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality general dentistry services to PACE participants

  • Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care aligned with CMC clinical standards

  • Support primary dentists by covering scheduled and unscheduled gaps

  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with onsite interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth clinic flow

Role Details

  • Frequency: Approximately 2 visits per month

  • Preferred Day: Fridays

  • Daily Rate: $900 per day

  • Setting: Outpatient PACE centers

  • Equipment: All supplies and portable dental equipment provided

  • Support: Dedicated operations and scheduling team

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited program

  • Active California dental license in good standing

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in outpatient senior‑care environments

  • Reliable transportation for local travel

  • Prior PACE or geriatric experience is helpful but not required
