Schedule: 3 days per week – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

About the Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Bilingual Optician to support our mobile eye care services throughout the Inland Empire. This role is ideal for an experienced optician who enjoys working with senior populations and providing accessible, quality eyewear services in a community-based healthcare setting.

The optician will travel between participating senior care clinics and work alongside our providers to help patients select, fit, and maintain their eyewear. There may also be opportunities to cross-train and assist with additional specialties, including audiology and podiatry.

What You'll Do

• Assist patients with eyewear selection, frame styling, and lens options.

• Take and record measurements to support proper eyewear fitting.

• Adjust, fit, and perform basic repairs on eyeglasses.

• Help patients understand their eyewear options and provide guidance on proper care.

• Coordinate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to support patient needs.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Set up and organize equipment and supplies at clinic locations.

• Communicate effectively with Spanish- and English-speaking patients.

• Be open to cross-training and providing support to other specialties, including audiology and podiatry.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an optician is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of eyewear, lenses, frame fitting, adjustments, and basic repairs.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.

• Excellent communication and patient service skills.

• Experience working with senior or geriatric populations is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and travel between clinic locations.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow infection-control procedures.
