Senior Quality Manager

Odessa, TX

Compu Dynamics Modular (CDM) is at the forefront of innovative modular solutions, specializing in Modular Data Centers (MDC), metal frame systems, and fully integrated enclosures. Our designs are scalable, efficient, and sustainable, tailored to meet the evolving needs of our clients in a dynamic industry.

Summary

The Quality Manager builds, implements, and maintains CDM's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring products, processes, suppliers, and field activities consistently meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements. This is a hands-on role spanning the fabrication floor, supplier audits, engineering design reviews, and field issues with hyperscale customers — less a traditional inspection manager and more a Quality Systems and Operational Excellence leader who can scale quality processes as CDM grows. The role is the primary quality leader across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Field Services, and Customer Support, reporting directly to the VP/GM and operating independently from Manufacturing and Supply Chain to preserve objective quality oversight.

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Incoming Inspection

Develop and manage receiving inspection processes.

  • Create inspection procedures, criteria, sampling plans, and acceptance standards based on engineering specs
  • Ensure material certifications are reviewed and retained; maintain inspection records and traceability
  • Manage receiving inspection personnel and activities
  • Example inspection areas: structural steel, electrical assemblies, cooling equipment, switchgear, UPS systems, BESS equipment, fabricated module structures

Manufacturing Quality

Support manufacturing operations while maintaining independent quality oversight.

  • Develop in-process inspection programs and quality checkpoints
  • Lead the nonconforming material process and chair Material Review Board (MRB) activities

Core Competencies

  • Professionalism: Represents CDM with integrity and credibility in all customer and partner interactions; sets a high bar for quality and professionalism across the team.
  • Exceeding Expectations: Driven to deliver on time, on budget, and beyond customer expectations; brings a bias for action and holds the team to high standards.
  • Mutual Respect: Builds collaborative relationships across engineering, manufacturing, and field teams; navigates competing priorities with empathy and clarity.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability?

  • Alcohol or other substance use disorder (not currently using drugs illegally)
