CompuNet is seeking a dynamic and experienced International Desk Manager to lead and grow our international business operations. This pivotal role oversees a team dedicated to supporting and coordinating all aspects of CompuNet’s global engagements. Acting as a strategic liaison between internal departments, global partners, and clients, the International Desk Manager ensures the seamless execution of international projects, service delivery, and operational excellence.

This role manages the international desk, which acts as a single point of contact for CompuNet’s international business. The International Desk Manager will work closely with the Sales Operations team to identify international business, manage and process all international orders through delivery, invoicing, and collections, while ensuring a streamlined and positive experience for the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the International Desk team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear goals, KPIs, and development plans to support professional growth and team performance.
    • Promote a proactive, customer-first mindset while driving operational excellence.
  • International Business Operations
    • Oversee daily international business operations, including quoting, procurement, logistics coordination, compliance, and invoicing.
    • Manage international orders from initiation through final delivery, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
    • Lead and serve as the primary point of contact for all international projects and quote requests, ensuring timely, accurate responses and successful execution.
    • Accept, review, and process worldwide orders, distributing to appropriate delivery partners.
    • Prepare and maintain status and management reports of quotes and orders, including daily forecasts, manufacturer forecast pipelines, and customer-specific ad hoc requests.
    • Provide strategic support to Sales for opportunity planning and global growth.
    • Proactively address issues and effectively solve problems to mitigate risks.
    • Work closely with CompuNet teams and worldwide partners to ensure the smooth flow of information, communication and order processing.
  • Global Vendor & Partner Engagement
    • In conjunction with the Partnership, Enablement & Programs (PEP) team, develop and maintain strong working relationships with international vendors, distributors, and delivery partners to ensure reliable global service and fulfillment.
    • Negotiate pricing, service levels, and commercial terms to optimize value and strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Additional Responsibilities 
    • Drive operational improvements and scalable process development across quoting, order fulfillment, and communication, while proactively mitigating risks and ensuring successful global project delivery.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and global partners to align international workflows, ensure transparent communication, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes throughout the order lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years’ of experience in international operations, logistics, or global business management, including a minimum of 2 years’ in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong working knowledge of global trade, import/export rules and regulations compliance, international logistics, and operational best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and develop high-performing teams through a hands-on, player-coach leadership style, driving performance and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with forecasting and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline- driven environment.
  • Prior experience partnering closely with sales and customer service teams to support client needs and drive business outcomes.
  • Foundational understanding of finance and accounting principles as they relate to international transactions and order management. Knowledge of and ability to accurately apply pricing, Gross Profit, discounts, and margin calculation.
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
