We are currently looking to hire a Senior Executive Protection Specialist to join our team (embedded with our client in Cambridge, Massachusetts)! The preference for candidate location is Boston, MA; however, we are open to candidates residing on the East Coast of the United States. (New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Virginia, Florida, Maryland, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.)
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Executive Protection Specialist will deliver professional, unobtrusive, and low-profile security to the client, ensuring their well-being and physical safety during daily life activities, events, and travel. This role is expected to conduct advance planning, threat assessment, and risk mitigation strategies to identify and respond to potential security threats preemptively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide physical security to the client and their guests by remaining vigilant and identifying possible threats or suspicious behavior in real-time and responding appropriately
- Conduct advance work and planning, including thorough site surveys, coordination with security teams, venue management, and local authorities as needed
- Prepare detailed security and contingency plans, as required
- Manage the client’s immediate environment by screening visitors, deliveries, and vendors at workspaces or personal residences
- Maintain discreet and professional conduct, blending into the environment and avoiding the escalation of situations unnecessarily
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, fire alarms, or other crises involving the client
- Maintain excellent rapport and open lines of communication regarding client needs, requests for support, service issues, and deliverables.
- Proactively communicate with clients regarding identified risks to personnel, property, or reputation
- Ensure completion of any client-required plans, surveys, or reports
- Assist with customer service issues to ensure a consistently high level of service
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of equivalent or Law Enforcement or Military experience
- Operational experience in similar physical security roles, preferably with a high-net-worth client/family office
- Operational experience with residential security teams, executive protection details, and/or high-profile corporate security teams
- Experience in OCONUS advance planning and site surveys
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Emotional intelligence and a customer-focused approach
- A successful track record operating within a high-touch, customer service environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
- High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
- Must have a valid passport
- LEOSA certification/ability to obtain a firearm permit for concealed carry and carry a firearm
- May be required to obtain a guard card
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Executive Protection and/or Tactical training
- Advanced medical training (EMT, WEMT, WFR, TCCC/TECC)

Cambridge, Massachusetts Pay Range
$150,000 - $180,000 USD
