Working within an embedded program environment, the Threat Assessment Manager uses client-provided equipment, networks, and platforms to conduct investigations, manage active cases, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support timely incident response and risk mitigation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain comprehensive regional threat research.

- Produce actionable and concise threat analysis products in a timely manner to inform cross-functional groups, executive staff protection, and enterprise-wide security operations.
- Conduct thorough open-source intelligence investigations—drawing on public and government databases, social media, and deep/dark-web sources—to identify and assess known or emerging threats that could affect platform users or the broader business community.
- Manage safety and security team relationships with local law enforcement partners and other investigative, research, and intelligence groups and vendors.
- Partner closely with customer service and operational teams to support threat intake, response coordination, and case resolution.
- Maintain global situational awareness of potential and developing threats and prepare impact analyses.
- Work on complex security incidents with multiple stakeholders, including those without experience in the threat and intelligence fields.
- Lead Threat Management Team meetings involving various stakeholders to coordinate response on immediate high level threat issues.
- Assist in program development with workflow creation, threat methodology research, and other planning products.
- Have a team-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Be comfortable communicating with everyone from senior executives to entry-level employees.
- Have the ability to translate complex security issues in a way that your specific audience can consume and understand them.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience supporting a comprehensive threat management program and direct experience conducting investigations, intelligence collection and analysis, and case management.

- Current member (or ability to become a member) of professional threat assessment organizations (i.e., Association of Threat Assessment Professionals).
- Ability to work some non-traditional hours (e.g., nights, weekends, or holidays) and respond to emergent or time-sensitive situations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated during the interview process.
