We are currently looking to hire a Security Driver/Residential Security Team Agent to join our team embedded with our client in Washington, DC! This position requires working onsite with our client in Washington, DC.
*This role follows a 12-hour shift schedule, consisting of four consecutive workdays followed by four days off. Shifts rotate between Day-Shift and Night-Shift schedules approximately every three months.
**This is an armed position. Candidates must currently possess a valid concealed carry permit and be legally able to carry a firearm in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Security Driver / Residential Security Team (RST) Agent (Armed) is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the client’s residence and supporting secure transportation operations as needed throughout the Greater Washington, D.C. area. This role is primarily focused on residential security functions—including access control, site monitoring, regular mobile and foot patrols of assigned residential areas, and nearby properties. Provide professional, discreet driving support when required. The position demands strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to operate seamlessly between static and mobile security environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a secure residential environment through access control, monitoring, and continuous situational awareness
- Conduct routine property checks and light exterior patrols to verify site security and identify irregularities
- Manage and coordinate all visitor and vendor access, ensuring proper vetting and documentation
- Safeguard the Principal, family members, and guests from safety and security risks within the residence and immediate surroundings
- Coordinate with internal teams, security personnel, and household staff to ensure seamless daily operations
- Support secure driving operations as needed, providing safe, discreet, and timely transportation for the Principal and guests
- Conduct advance work and route planning, including primary and alternate routes
- Operate vehicles in a safe, smooth, and professional manner while maintaining passenger comfort and security
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness, readiness, and maintenance compliance
- Identify, assess, and respond to potential threats, incidents, or emergencies, escalating as appropriate
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders
- Assist with emergency response, including medical incidents or unforeseen disruptions
- Follow established procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of RST and driving operations
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies and standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of equivalent or relevant industry experience
- Ability to obtain a firearm permit for concealed carry and carry a firearm in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
- First Aid/CPR
- Operational experience driving high-profile executives or high-net-worth passengers
- Current Driver’s License with a flawless driving record
- May be required to obtain a guard card
- Thorough understanding of local and federal laws and regulations related to personal driver services
- Well-versed in driving in and around the Greater Washington D.C. Area
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Operational experience with residential security teams, executive protection details, and/or high-profile corporate security teams
- Emotional intelligence and a customer-focused approach
- A successful track record operating within a high-touch, customer service environment
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- Ability to remain calm under stressful driving conditions
- High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information, excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort working with senior leadership
- Demonstrated computer skills, including Google Suite and MS Office applications
- Skilled in synthesizing facts, concepts, and principles
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience providing executive driving service for individuals with mobility issues
- Defensive Driving and/or EVOC certifications
- Advanced medical training (EMT, WEMT, WFR, TCCC/TECC)
- Executive Protection and/or Tactical training preferred
- Working knowledge and comfortable with the use of communication apps (ie. Signal, WhatsApp).
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- The HSA medical plan covers 100% of the premium for employee-only coverage. The PPO medical plan requires an employee contribution for employee-only coverage. For both plans, Concentric covers a substantial portion of the premium for dependents.

Washington, DC Pay Range
$50 - $50 USD
